In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, we realize the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at The Montvale Senior Living, we understand to achieve this culture, employees must trust their workplace.

Each August, The Montvale participates in the Great Place to Work Survey. This is a time when staff can be open and honest about their feedback. A third party collects the data, so it truly is anonymous. It is so important for us to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly to know what we can work on to truly make our community a great place to work.
As the Business Operations Director, I am dedicated to promoting employee appreciation by consistently recognizing our hard-working team members. At The Montvale, we take the time to show our appreciation in ways that resonate with everyone. We love asking residents to share their thoughts, love, and appreciation on video, creating a compilation for the employee to enjoy—perfect for those who value Words of Affirmation.
Sometimes, we surprise our team with a small gift, like their favorite donuts or drink, because a thoughtful gesture can brighten the day for those who appreciate Receiving Gifts. On days when an employee feels overwhelmed, we all pitch in to help lighten their load, understanding that Acts of Service can make a big difference.
For those who value Quality Time, we open our offices to listen, chat, or simply offer undivided attention, helping us grow closer as a team. We truly cherish our team at The Montvale and make it a priority to show them just how much they mean to us.
We believe when done right, making work a fun place creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.

Montvale Senior Living serves and employs individuals of all faiths, regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age or handicap, except as limited by state and federal law.
